The Yunnan style kite is a kind of

flying in the hot land of Yunnan.

Through the continuous efforts of

generations of people,

Yunnan-style kites finally became

a school of their own

and were included in the list of

intangible cultural heritage.

追溯我国的风筝文化已有两千多年的历史

起源于春秋，历经木鸟、纸鸢等变化

最终得名风筝

Tracing back to China's kite culture has a history of more than two thousand years,

originated in the Spring and Autumn period, after wooden birds, paper kites and other changes,

and finally got the name kite.

600多年前

北派宫廷式的风筝

机缘巧合来到云南

中原风筝飞惯了风和日丽的微风天气

一旦遇到强劲风力将难以升空

More than 600 years ago,

the palace-style kites of the Northern School

came to Yunnan by chance.

Kites in the Central Plains are used to the gentle and sunny breeze,

and it will be difficult to lift off once they encounter strong winds.

而云南“一山分四季，十里不同天”

风速大且风向转换频繁

云南难免遭遇“水土不服”

However, in Yunnan, "one mountain is divided into four seasons, ten miles of different days",

the wind speed is high and the wind direction changes frequently,

so, kites inevitably encounter "soil and water disobedience" in Yunnan.

巧妙地运用物理受风卸风的原理

发明了“元宝型”的翅翼与三角形身体相结合的风筝

A kind of kite which needs to adapt to the unique climate of Yunnan arises at the historic moment.

After several studies, the industrious and intelligent "Dian people"

skillfully used the principle of physical wind

to invent a kite with a combination of " Yuanbao type " wings and triangular body.

滇派风筝的特点是风槽大、上凸下翘

每只风筝上都设计有一个“坠力面”

即在风筝底部设计出具有

流线型的气流通道

致使升力越大，坠力就越大

独创的翅翼更让其飞出了新高度

Yunnan-style kite are characterized by large wind grooves, protruding up and down.

Each kite is designed with a "falling force surface",

that is, a streamlined airflow channel is designed at the bottom of the kite,

so that the greater the lift, the greater the falling force.

The original wing makes it fly to a new height.

Our common kites are Weifang kites,

and a pair of Yunnan-style kites with triangular figure and "Yuanbao type" wings are strange to many people.

Yunnan-style kites rarely appear in the kites flying in the wind on the banks of Yunnan poolside,
